Home modifications are adaptations which make a home safer and easier to access.
Home modifications can enable people with disabilities to retain their independence
and continue living at home. Modifications can range from something as simple as
installing grab bars, building ramps, widening doorways, or adapting bedrooms,

The Center for Universal Design is a national research, information, and technical assistance center that evaluates, develops, and promotes universal design in housing, public and commercial facilities, and related products.

Non-facility based residential living which provides support to an individual in their own residence.
